Glasgow Chamber of Commerce

Founded in 1783, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce is the oldest Chamber in the English speaking world with continuous records. The Chamber is part of a network of 53 Chambers of Commerce across the UK accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). Together we make up a strong network of trusted champions of businesses, places, and global trade. They represent 73,000 businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors. One purpose of the Chamber is to “influence the function of …any governmental body”. The Chamber is the only business support network that helps British businesses build relationships on every level.

ScotlandIS works closely with Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and Skills Development Scotland to underline the importance of the digital technologies industry to the Scottish economy.
