Bellrock Technology would like to congratulate Solutions Engineer Aidan Wood, who has been shortlisted for the Young Engineer of the Year Award (YEYA23) by Scottish Engineering.
Aidan achieved the honour thanks to his work for Bellrock Technology with Time For You Care in Edinburgh, a company that uses technology to deliver more efficient care to clients, as well as paying its carers a greater percentage of the practitioner’s hourly rate.
He was specifically tasked with creating a system that predicted delays that might occur in carer visits and deliver them in real time, through Bellrock Technology’s cloud software Lumen®, into online dashboards that managers can incorporate into carer schedules.
This special use of automation allowed seemless adjustments to the schedule, saving valuable time for carers and also the back office operators.
Chief Executive, Adam Brown said: “Aidan has been a valuable member of the team at Bellrock Technology for several years, since he graduated from university, and has delivered exceptional work – including the project for Time for You Care which resulted in this deserved nomination.”
